Sometimes it really does get so hard to do. I love my art, I love my photography and I love sharing it with others but sometimes as an artist you wonder if what you are doing is really the right thing.

The hardest part of being creative in any way or form is that you are always baring that part of yourself that others prefer to remain hidden. It is the exploration and hidden aspect of yourself challenged and exposed to it's full potential that leaves you wide open and vulnerable to any outside influences.

I will not lie that it is a daily struggle on whether or not you keep on doing what you do.

Had to go to your journal before commenting on this....I personally like vintage, (currently obsessed with it really) and I think that you should just keep doing what YOU want to do, and give people shit if they give you shit. Art shouldn't just be about "prettiness." Too many people out there make that misconception. There is usually a meaning behind it, and if people can't appreciate the hidden things behind your work, then it's their loss. :steaming:

Yeah, my mischevious little muse has come up with all sorts of wierd shit of late. What fun is art unless you can push a few buttons. I got told that the reason why noone responds to my art is because it can be too confronting. Piffle. You have no idea what confronting is my dears. My stuff is tame as can be.

If I unleashed upon the world my REAL work that I have done over the years (not really that comfortable doing it as I am still not quite jaded or arrogant enough to do so. I'm getting there, believe me) then they will start getting a little uncomfortable about it.

Reptilian? Bah, that's just the lazer mesh I attacked myself with :p
